Adder 2.0 Magazine: More Firepower, Faster Reloading

EK Archery listened to community feedback and completely redesigned the magazine for the famous Adder tactical crossbow. The new 2.0 Magazine is not just a capacity extension but a structural improvement that transforms the shooting experience, offering smoother operation and greater endurance at the range or in tactical training scenarios.

What's New in Version 2.0?

• Extended Capacity: Go from 5 to 7 bolts, allowing more successive shots before a full reload is needed.

• Optimized Reloading Mechanism: The internal design has been revised to make loading bolts easier, eliminating the risk of jams and making the feeding process far more intuitive and faster than the previous model.

• Improved Reliability: The refined geometry ensures each bolt slides smoothly onto the firing rail, guaranteeing flawless operation even at a rapid pace.

• Ready-to-Shoot Package: The magazine comes with a new set of 7 bolts, 7.5 inches long, specially calibrated to work with this mechanism.

Why Choose the 2.0 Upgrade? If you own a first-generation Adder crossbow, this magazine is the most important upgrade you can make. It radically improves ergonomics and gives you the advantage of two extra shots, turning the Adder into an even more formidable tool.

Upgrade your Supersonic crossbow with the X-BOW FMA LONGLIFE string, a 100% European product designed to outperform original strings! This high-performance string is made with Dyneema SK75 as the main material, an extremely durable, high-strength fiber with a very low tendency to creep.

Quality is paramount in the manufacturing process: each fiber has a uniform diameter and is coated with a special wax for improved handling and extended service life.

X-BOW FMA pays special attention to the served areas:

• The center serving is made from braided strands of Dyneema SK and Vectran (CS28-XBOW), providing optimal protection for the most stressed area of the string and cable.
• The servings around the cable tubes are made from a twisted UHWMPE material, bonded with a special resin.

All these elements combined create a high-performance string that is more durable and more resistant to breakage than any other string.

Note: After installing the new cables and/or strings, they require a "settling" period. Initially, the cocking process of the Supersonic crossbow may be somewhat slower, but this effect disappears after about 30-50 shots.

Technical Specifications:

• Color: Black
• String length: 20.6 inch (approximately 52.32 cm)
• Main Material: Dyneema SK75
• Center Serving Material: Braided Dyneema SK and Vectran (CS28-XBOW)
• Cable Serving Material: Twisted UHWMPE with special resin

EK Archery VLAD Limb Tips: Protection and Safety with Every Shot

Limb tips, also known as Limb Tips, are essential components for the proper operation of the EK Archery VLAD pistol crossbow. They play the crucial role of creating a smooth, secure contact surface between the limb ends and the string, preventing premature damage to both parts.

Why Are Limb Tips Important for the VLAD?

• String Protection: Limb edges can be abrasive under the tension of 60 or 90 pounds. Limb tips protect the string loops from cutting or fraying caused by friction.

• Limb Integrity: They help distribute the pulling force evenly across the limb end, reducing the risk of micro-cracks in the composite material.

• Ballistic Stability: They ensure correct string positioning on the limbs, contributing to more consistent and accurate shooting.

• Original Replacement Part: As an original EK Archery product, these tips are made from durable polymer that withstands repeated impact and high pressure.

When Should You Replace the Limb Tips?

• If you notice cracks or obvious signs of wear in the plastic.

• If the string loops seem to wear out unusually fast at the ends.

• After a dry-fire incident, inspecting them is mandatory for safety.

Technical Specifications:

• Manufacturer: EK Archery.

• Compatibility: VLAD repeating pistol crossbow (all power variants).

• Material: High-strength polymer.

• Installation: Press-fits onto the limb ends before the string is installed.

The easy-to-use string changing tool consistently uses leverage and allows strings to be changed easily. The two elements are simply hooked into the cams and the limbs are pressed together by means of the two levers. Then the two levers are connected at the other end and the limbs are already fixed in a position where the string can be changed effortlessly. After successfully changing the string, carefully separate the two levers and slowly return the limbs to their original position.
