The new Steambow B08 crossbow from Austrian developer Steambow is a technological leap, turning the AR platform into a versatile repeating weapon for .68 caliber projectiles. This "crossbow of the future" offers an 8-shot magazine and is built on a 2nd-generation frame (Lower 2nd Gen), ensuring extreme reliability.

Versatility in Ammunition and Use:

• Compatible Projectiles: You can use a wide range of .68 cal. balls, from paintball balls and pepper powder balls for self-defense to marking (colored) projectiles or plastic balls.

• Brand Compatibility: Works great with ammunition from Umarex (T4E), Byrna, Hawki and others, provided their surface is smooth.

• Ammunition Warning: Rough rubber projectiles or those containing steel filings are not recommended, as they can jam the magazine mechanism.

Performance and Tactical Construction:

• Adjustable Power: Comes standard with CQ limbs rated at 35 lbs, ideal for safe paintball games, but supports upgrades up to 135 lbs (PROTECTOR limbs) for strength training.

• Quick-Change Magazine: The patented system allows instant swapping of the upper magazine with a simple push of a button.
