The new glass-carbon (glass-carbon) AR-6 Stinger 2 Compact 35 lbs limbs are designed to deliver significantly higher kinetic energy compared to the standard limbs of the first-generation AR-Stinger.

Output and kinetic energy: The 35 lbs draw weight (draw weight) is not the only indicator of a crossbow's performance. The efficiency of the weapon, draw length, limb recovery characteristics, and arrow and string weight directly influence projectile energy. Depending on the arrow weight used and the number of twists applied to the string (a shorter string provides higher tension), these limbs develop an impressive kinetic energy of 7 to 10 Joules (5.2 – 7.4 ft-lbs) on AR-6 Stinger II series crossbows.
